From the KSU Foundation: Giving thanks
Dear K-State family,
During this season of giving thanks, I want to extend my whole-hearted thanks to you for making Kansas State University the place we love full well. Much of what you do – as K-State faculty and staff – to equip and educate students is done when no one is watching. Your hours of study, research, grading, guiding, grant writing and meetings largely happen out of the public eye.
Thank you for your commitment, innovation and inspiration on behalf of K-State.
Did you know that saying thank you is part of what we do at the KSU Foundation? In fact, we have a team of stewardship and donor engagement professionals who work each day to acknowledge university philanthropists and giving partners. This team fulfills a key tenet of our mission to inspire and guide philanthropy toward university priorities to boldly advance K-State. They are tireless in their commitment and – like you — accomplish much of their important work behind-the-scenes.
K-Staters are generous people and we take our work as K-State’s strategic partner for philanthropy very seriously. Through meet-and-greets with scholarship recipients, donor events and crafting enduring recognition for sponsored spaces, the foundation’s innovative stewardship and donor engagement team helps to remind donors that they impact the K-State family — and in many cases — for generations forward.
"We get to know anyone who comes through the door with a K-State question, idea or a gift," Laura Forster, stewardship specialist, said. "Though we hope to inspire further support of K-State, we first want to genuinely thank donors and volunteers; let them know they matter in the lives of K-State students, faculty and staff."
In this season of Thanksgiving, we are grateful to partner with you to advance K-State family.
