Find out more about why McCain Auditorium needs your support and what funding areas are a priority now:
Currently, the McCain Auditorium lobby lacks the space and typical amenities found in a modern performing arts facility. The existing size of the lobby does not provide adequate space for ticketing, and pre-and post-function events. Additionally, McCain Auditorium lacks an appropriate space for engaging with patrons and donors and does not advance the visitor experience or provide for community engagement. Current building space has inadequate restroom facilities, administrative offices, and storage.

McCain Auditorium is fortunate to have a very dedicated staff, committed to the pursuit of programming excellence. We are, however, lacking in staff support that is typical of a major public research university. Current staff offices and salaries are not up to par, and more staff is needed in critical areas of community outreach, marketing, development, and technical and clerical support.
McCain Auditorium is constantly seeking to expand its education and outreach footprint. Our goal is to partner with university faculty and K-12 educators to fund live arts programming that will enhance classroom activities and expand and promote discourse among campus and community members.
Funds are also needed to continue bringing artists and attractions to our campus and community that not only entertain, but challenge and promote creative and critical thinking necessary to improve the human experience. Artists of this level cannot be obtained with ticket sales alone. Funding must come from outside sources.
