Dr. Donald Van Riper, Canyon Lake, Texas, has made a gift of $25,000 to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University to establish the Van Riper Scholarship in Veterinary Medicine.

Jay Longinaker and Lora Damme, Randolph, Iowa, have made a commitment of $32,500 to the College of Agriculture at Kansas State University to perpetuate the C.W. Longinaker Memorial Scholarship.

Alumni and friends of Kansas State University contributed $81.5 million to K-State through the KSU Foundation during the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2009. This is the fifth-largest total in the 65-year history of the foundation.
