McLain, Lenexa, Kan., have made a commitment of $54,000 through a gift of securities to the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering at Kansas State University to establish the Jean Gibbs McLain Journalism Scholarship and the Ernest L. McLain Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering.
