(Bill) Muir III, Kansas State University assistant vice president for community relations, has made a commitment of $126,000 to the Kansas State University Changing Lives Campaign to establish the William L. Muir Student Alumni Board Leadership Scholarship and the John T. (Tom) Muir Outstanding Greek Athlete Scholarship.

Members and officers elected to the KSU Foundation Board of Trustees (Hometown interest for Manhattan, Wichita, Larned, Belleville, Junction City, Overland Park, Beloit, Hutchinson and Topeka)

Twenty-one people were recently elected to four-year terms as trustees of the KSU Foundation at the board’s annual meeting in Manhattan, Kan. The board of trustees is the governing body of the KSU Foundation. The new members are: John Allen, Newport, Ky.; Kara Belew, Wichita, Kan.; Andrew Bell, Houston; John and Nancy Blackwell, Larned, Kan.; Eleanor Brent, Manhattan; Bob Campbell, Wichita; John and Lynn Carlin, Manhattan; Allan Holiday, Manhattan; Thayne Larson, Belleville, Kan.; Chuck and Deanna Munson, Junction City, Kan.; Don Rathbone, Manhattan; Doug and Cynthia Smith, Niwot, Colo.; Virgil and Jane Snell, Overland Park, Kan.; Rich Teichgraeber, Benbrook, Texas; Steve Theede, Oxfordshire, Great Britain; and Marty Vanier, Manhattan. The election brings the total number of foundation trustees to 383.
