Binfords create three scholarships for K-State education, engineering and football

Bill and Phyllis Binford, Hutchinson, Kan., have made a gift of $288,000 through a charitable remainder unitrust (CRUT) to the Kansas State University Changing Lives Campaign to establish the William K. Binford Scholarship in Engineering, the Phyllis J. Binford Scholarship in Education and the Bill and Phyllis Binford Endowed Football Scholarship.

Alan and Karen Bell, Manhattan, Kan., have made a gift of $400,000 through two charitable gift annuities to the Kansas State University Changing Lives Campaign to establish the Karen Bell Women’s Tennis Scholarship, Karen Bell Elementary Education Scholarship, H. Alan Bell Engineering Scholarship and H. Alan Bell Chemistry Scholarship.
