David Werkema, Milwaukee, Wis., has made a commitment of $357,000 to the Kansas State University Foundation Changing Lives Campaign to establish the David Werkema Fund for Companion Animals and the Alf and Lucy Werkema Fund for Companion Animals.

Dow Chemical Company Foundation gives $500,000 to K-State engineering and diversity

The Dow Chemical Company Foundation, Midland, Mich., has made a gift of $500,000 to the Kansas State University Foundation Changing Lives Campaign to establish nine funds supporting diversity and mechanical and chemical engineering programs at Kansas State University from 2006 through 2011.

Hill makes scholarship gift to K-State for education majors
