K-State at Salina

Giving opportunities

Student scholarships

The College of Technology and Aviation is the newest and fastest growing of all the colleges at K-State. Approximately 1,000 undergraduate students are enrolled at the Salina campus.

In a time of decreasing state support for public universities and increasing tuition costs, students are more sensitive to the cost of their education.
Now more than ever, we must award outstanding students with scholarships so they may contribute to the fields of technology and aviation.

Excellence fund

Private support for the dean’s excellence fund can help the college by allowing us to maintain low flight costs and a modern fleet, to support student projects and to fund faculty recognition and retention programs.
In addition, gifts-in-kind of aircraft, engines and other technological equipment all help our students learn in a environment that best simulates the workplace.

Facilities

K-State at Salina recently completed fundraising efforts and broke ground for our student life center, which includes office and meeting space, recreational facilities, a bookstore, cafeteria and auditorium. In July 2009, Phase I of the center will be completed, and Phase II of the center can begin.

The Student Life Center for K-State at Salina will do more than add beauty and functionality to the campus — it will create pride of place and a home for the programs that advance scholarship and foster loyalty, friendship and service. With your generous support for Phase II, we can prepare graduates in an atmosphere of excellence.
