K-State Proud Award

K-State Proud Awards are allocated by a student allocations committee in consultation with the Office of Student Financial Assistance to provide financial assistance for students who have demonstrated extreme financial need or those who need temporary financial assistance. Special consideration will be given to students whose future at K-State may be in jeopardy and to students who have exhausted all other forms of financial assistance. Students and faculty members are encouraged to nominate students in need, or students may nominate themselves. Applications are received online on a continuing basis, and awards are allocated year round.

Thanks for being K-State Proud!

K-State Proud Award process: Within one to two business days, you will receive an e-mail acknowledgement of your nomination. The nominee will also receive a form to complete granting the awards allocation committee permission to consult with the Office of Student Financial Assistance. Within a week after the signed permission form is received, the allocation committee will review the nomination and determine whether additional information or verification of need is necessary. One week after the committee's first review, either an award will be made or the request will be declined. This timeline is dependent on when information is received from the nominee. During the summer semester and winter break, the application review process and award timeline may be extended longer than during the fall and spring semesters.
