You can help the Pride of Wildcat Land
look as great as they sound!
Dear K-Stater,
Think back for a moment — 25 years to be exact. A lot has changed at K-State since then. K-State has more students, a bigger campus and nationally ranked academic and athletic programs. Unfortunately, one thing hasn’t changed: the K-State marching band uniform. And that’s not a good thing.
The current uniforms have taken 25 years of heavy use and are literally falling apart at the seams. To put things into perspective it’s helpful to know that these band uniforms were designed to last an average of six to eight years.
Replacing these uniforms is important to our 300 hardworking student musicians who make up the Pride of Wildcat Land. These students proudly represent our university, the city of Manhattan, and the state of Kansas each year at sporting events and beyond.
You can show your support by making a gift to the K-State Band Uniform Fund. Each uniform costs $400 to replace. With a gift at that level, you’ll receive on-field recognition this coming season at a home football game and your name sewn on the inside of the uniform. And if purchasing a uniform isn’t within your means, a gift at any level will make an impact.
I’m sure you agree that the Pride of Wildcat Land deserves to look as great as they sound. Please consider a gift today!
