What is Student Foundation?

The Kansas State University Student Foundation is a student group that focuses on raising awareness among students about the importance of giving back to K-State and cultivating philanthropy across the university. Sponsored by the KSU Foundation, the Student Foundation works with foundation staff and volunteers to uphold the mission of uniting philanthropic desires with university priorities.

What are the benefits of membership in Student Foundation?

Members of Student Foundation are provided opportunities to foster philanthropy at K-State, share their pride for K-State with alumni, donors and corporate partners, enhance personal networking skills, and discover and further develop their own strengths as leaders.

How can I apply for Student Foundation?

Student Foundation recruits new members once a year in a selection process each spring semester. The organization is looking for a diverse group of students who are dedicated and willing to be a part of furthering the organization’s goals. This includes a philanthropic interest and ability to serve as a leader for the student body in promoting the importance of philanthropy.
